Playable Character
Customisable Character
A customisable character will be able to me made at the beginning of the game. The player will be able to select the gender, skin colour and hair colour of their character and give it a name.
Backstory
The Player has quit their boring office job to pursue their dream of being a window cleaner. Being a window cleaner allows them to have control of their life and meet new people and explore the city they live in.
Abilities
Washer Fluid – The character can squirt washer fluid onto the windows to be able to clean them. If the player taps on the window the character will squirt the fluid where the player taps.
Squeegee – The character will use his squeegee to wipe and clean the fluid and dirt off the screen. The player can use the squeegee after they have used the washer fluid and can scrub on the touchscreen to wipe the dirt off.
Balance – The character has super balance abilities. If the wind starts blowing him off he can correct the ladder and stay balanced. The player can do this by tilting their device in the opposite direction to the wind blowing.
Deter Competitors – The character will be able to throw wet sponges at Competitors who try to sabotage their work. The player can do this by tapping on enemies as they appear.
Gameplay
Story Campaign Base Level Design
Each level will require the player to clean a certain number of windows. Depending on how long they take to clean all of the windows will determines where they fall into one of three star category ratings. E.g. Under 1 minute = 3 stars, Under 2 minutes = 2 stars, Over 2 minutes = 3 stars. The times will depend on the number of windows to be cleaned and the difficulty of the level. The player will move up the ladder automatically to the next row when the row of windows are all clean.
Competitors will try to sabotage your ratings in a number of ways. They can wobble your ladder, if the character falls off they will have to climb back up, taking more time. They can also make windows you’ve already cleaned dirty again. However, they can be easily deterred by throwing a wet sponge at them.
The Weather can also effect the game. If it is windy, it can blow the character’s ladder over and force them to have to climb back up. If they are quite far up the building it will take longer to climb back up, and the ladder will be more effected by the wind. Rain also has an impact on gameplay, if it is raining it will take the player longer to clean a window due to have to clean more off the window.
Zone Boss Battles
At the end of each Zone a boss battle will commence with each Zone’s Competitor to the player. There will be 3 types of battle that occur.
Zone 1 & 4: Clean all the windows the quickest
Zone 2 & 5: Survive the longest on the ladder without being knocked off
Zone 3 & 6: Clean as many windows as possible in a set time
PlayLink
Play with or against your friends on the PlayLink. Players can play through two different game modes when using with the PlayLink:
Story Campaign – Team up with your friends to grow your business empire. Play through the Story Campaign mode with your friends.
Competition Campaign – Go head to head with your friends to see who can build the biggest empire. Play through 6 levels (random level selected from each zone), player with the highest Reputation Rating at the end wins.
Hardware
Game is designed to play on Mobile and Tablet devices. It can be used in conjunction with the PlayStation 4 when using the PlayLink features. It will be able to work on Apple iOS and Android.
